GREYSTONE HALL
WEDDING VENUE
Greystone Hall is an unparalleled site for weddings and receptions. Nestled on a private estate on 34 acres in the Brandywine Valley, this turn of the century mansion offers a unique setting for a romantic affair your guests will remember for years to come. The vast majority of those choosing the site have opted to have both the ceremony and reception at Greystone Hall because of the convenience of having the entire event at one location and because of the beauty of the location for a wedding ceremony – offering ceremony consultation and “Day of” coordination for both indoor and outdoor weddings. The ceremony takes place on the formal terraced garden, in front of the wrought iron arbor overlooking the grounds and a fifty-six column pergola.
Greystone Hall’s stately architecture and formal grounds have been the setting for many special wedding ceremonies. Orthodox Jewish, Indian, Muslim and Korean ceremonies have been performed on site. The arbor serves as the wedding chuppah for traditional Jewish wedding ceremonies. There have been numerous interfaith weddings combining the beauty of the different religious and cultural traditions of both the bride’s and groom’s families. The setting also has inspired period weddings – from Renaissance to Victorian – and theme weddings including a Halloween Masked Wedding, Great Gatsby, a Phantom of the Opera and a Murder Mystery Wedding.
