After 19 years as a performer, Kurt Titchenell created Brandwine Valley Talent. Since 1999, BVTLive has taken over the Philadelphia entertainment community. Their collection of dance bands offer a wide variety of entertainment styles for all events. Kurt wanted to not only go beyond client expectations, but also give the musicians a greater opportunity.

BVTLive has twelve dance bands and a variety of specialty entertainment and DJs that perform in Philadelphia, New York City, Washington D.C. and more. They have also performed a variety of high profile weddings, like Tina Fey’s! Over the years, BVTLive continues to grow and showcase their excellent musical talent. 

We spoke to the president of BVTLive, Kurt Titchenell, about BVTLive and the current Philly music scene.

Kurt told us that BVTLive has served Philadelphia for twenty years, and has performed over 8000 weddings! That’s over 400 weddings a year! Kurt also told us that their wedding perfection and success comes from their “sophisticated live high energy dance bands and ensembles, as well as DJs.” 

After twenty years in the business, Kurt has learned a lot about the entertainment industry. He advises that when couples are trying to select the perfect entertain, they should get to know the band leader, and if possible, see the band perform live. Kurt also pointed out some of the current wedding trends he is seeing.
