How They Met

“Andrew & I met 10 years ago at the University of Delaware. Throughout the years we’ve managed long distance, moved to Philly together, witnessed an Eagles Super Bowl win, bought a home in South Philly and adopted our first pup, Byron! After all these years of growing and building a life together, we finally felt ready to share and celebrate our love with friends & family.

Herman’s holds a special place in our hearts, we take our dog Byron here every weekend for a milk bone for him, lattes for us. This past Labor Day was no different – so it seemed.”

The Proposal

“Andrew had told me we were going to grab coffee before I was supposed to meet my two best friends for brunch. That was supposed to get me dressed in a cute sundress, but I had other ideas. It was so hot and I said I couldn’t be bothered to change. 

So when Andrew began to ask me the big question I couldn’t help but blurt out “Here? now! I’m in biker shorts!” I quickly recovered my shock and said yes to forever with my best friend with our best friend by our side in the neighborhood where we’ve had so many of our firsts together. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect engagement with a more perfect person.” 

Sara and Andrew’s Wedding will take place in the summer of May 2025 and we want to wish them the best!
