It was an honor last week to be invited for a sneak peak of Philadelphia’s up and coming lifestyle club and hotel: The Fitler Club. Daniel Briones, the Director of Operations for the Fitler Club, led us on the tour of the new building. Directly west of Center City, workers are transforming the old Marketplace Design Center at 2400 Market Street into the Fitler Club. The location offers beautiful views of the city and the bridges over the Schuylkill River.
CEO David Gutstadt introduced his L.A. influence into the Philly-based club. The building will be a unique mix of services such as hotel space, ten thousand square feet of event space, a movie theater, fitness center, and high-end restaurant.
The ten thousand square foot event space is a great place for weddings with its three unique features. The Garden, an outdoor space that leads into the main ballroom, is a more intimate picturesque space. Inside, the Ballroom hosts a grand space for various styled weddings and receptions. Perhaps the most intriguing event space is the Trophy Room. The Trophy room houses bowling lanes, billiards, ping-pong and a variety of classic arcade games for guest use. These three features blend together to give a truly unforgettable wedding and event venue. The Fitler Club also offers their critically acclaimed chef and culinary services to create a specialized menu for any event. If the wedding is an all weekend event, The Fitler Club can block off up to eight rooms for guests.
The Fitler Club will be a unique new Philadelphia wedding venue. The team at Philadelphia Weddings were honored to be invited to the tour of Philadelphia’s newest addition and can’t wait for the debut of the exclusive Fitler Club in 2019.
