WATER WORKS BY CESCAPHE

PHILADELPHIA WEDDING VENUE

In the mid-19th century, it was the second most-visited tourist destination in America. Now superbly restored, the Water Works by Cescaphe is a National Historic Landmark. And one of the most iconic—and romantic—locations in Philadelphia.

Its combination of gracious Neoclassical architecture on the outside and then-revolutionary technology within once drew visitors from around the world—including Charles Dickens, who praised its “pleasant design.” Today, the Water Works provides rich contemporary luxury in its lavish interior spaces in one of the city’s most picturesque setting, with columned walkways, a vintage gazebo, the Art Museum perched dramatically above and Boathouse Row stretched out along the Schuylkill River just beyond.

The Water Works offers a variety of settings rarely found in a single venue. Its magnificent views, elegant structures, and landscaped grounds make adding an outdoor ceremony to your reception a natural choice. Choose from The Engine House, The Mill House, or The Grand Pavillion for your Philadelphia Wedding reception.
