The Venue
The Foundry brings together old-world charm with modern beauty. Warm lighting and rustic additions give the Foundry an easy romantic feel that fits perfectly with any wedding. Phoenixville Foundry sits on a gorgeous plot of land right on the French Creek with lovely greens and trees dotting the venue. With a vast array of spaces, the venue transforms into any wedding style. Each unique space allows brides and grooms to custom design their wedding experience.
Indoor Spaces
Inside the Foundry, you will find two room options to hold your wedding. The West Wing Ballroom offers enough space for up to 275 seated guests and showcases tall ceilings with large windows. The dance floor is surrounded by rustic elements of wood and steel, highlighting the simple elements of the room. There is also a stage hooked up with audiovisual so your party is ready to go!
The Cupola Ballroom and Mezzanine is your other option when planning your wedding at the Foundry. When combined with the West Wing Ballroom, you can hold up to 400 guests. This Ballroom offers a stunning staircase that leads from the mezzanine to the ground floor. The mezzanine itself is great for your cocktail hour or cake cutting, plus there are private rooms for use by the bridal party or entertainers. Each space is extremely versatile and allows you to design the room exactly how you envisioned it.
Outdoor Gardens
Outdoor spaces include the scenic Covered Bridge and Sculpture Garden. The Covered Bridge is a popular spot for capturing photos of the newlyweds and the wedding party. The sculpture garden is great for outdoor ceremonies and celebrating all night long. There is also an outdoor patio that is perfect for hosting guests. This area also offers a great space for photo taking by the trellis garden. Lush greens cover the property, creating naturally beautiful backdrops for your wedding day photos and videos.
The History of Phoenixville Foundry
Hinting to the town’s industrial past, the Foundry was built along the French Creek by the Pheonix Iron & Steel Company in 1882. After the Foundry was no longer needed, it was abandoned but then renovated to uphold the history in Phoenixville.
When the Hankin Real Estate Group acquired the estate in 2006, they designed a space that mixed old and new, celebrating the history of the area while bringing in modern elements to the event space. With 18,000 square feet and a beautiful story to tell, Phoenixville Foundry continues to give back to the town and any couple they host.

From the Foundry, we spoke to Ariane Graham who gave us some personal insight on the venue.
When asked about what makes the Phoenixville Foundry perfect for weddings, Ariane shared that they provide a free oversized parking lot, transitional indoor and outdoor spaces, and theatrical LED mood lighting. She encourages couples to utilize the outdoor spaces for beautiful photo opportunities, especially the antique Column Truss Bridge and Sculpture Garden. The Sculpture Garden can be used for ceremonies, and the Foundry also offers a backup indoor ceremony plan in case of bad weather.
In addition to her knowledge about The Foundry and J. Scott Catering, Ariane also filled us in on some current wedding trends she witnesses. Recently, couples have added late-night snack stations. Some of the most popular options include a Philly cheesesteak grill and a donut wall. Along with these additions, couples are also adding in their own wedding hashtags and signature drinks to personalize their big day.
