Phoenixville Foundry – Editor’s Choice Award 2022

The History of Phoenixville Foundry

In 1882, The Phoenixville Foundry was built by the Pheonix Iron & Steel Company. Eventually the building was abandoned. Fortunately, years later the building was renovated to uphold the history in Phoenixville. Later in 2006, Hankin Real Estate Group acquired the estate. Their goal was to design a space that mixed old and new. They wanted to celebrate the history of the area while bringing in modern elements to the event space. Now with 18,000 square feet and a beautiful story to tell, Phoenixville Foundry continues to give back to the town and any couple they host. 

The Venue

Phoenixville Foundry sits on a gorgeous plot of land by the French Creek. The scenery is truly amazing! Stunning greenery and trees line the venue. Not to mention, the building itself is beautiful and has the perfect history charm. Here, old-world charm meets modern beauty. You’ll feel like you’re in a fairytale! For instance, rustic additions give the Foundry an easy romantic feel that fits perfectly with any wedding. The venue can transform to fit any wedding style. Their vast array of spaces allows couples to custom design their wedding experience. Your dream wedding comes to life at the Phoenixville Foundry.

Indoor Spaces

At the Foundry, you have two room options to host your wedding. First is The West Wing Ballroom. This space is ideal for those looking for a more intimate setting. With over 3,000 square feet of flexible space, this room can hold up to 275 seated guests. Showcasing tall ceilings with large windows this room feels very grand and elegant. There are also historical, industrial touches that fill the room. For instance, the dance floor is surrounded by rustic elements of wood and steel. The ceiling also gives that industrial feel.

Next is The Cupola Ballroom. This 8,100 square foot space is Phoenixville Foundry’s main ballroom. And when combined with the West Wing Ballroom, you can hold up to 400 guests! Similar to the West Wing Ballroom, the Cupola Ballroom has beautiful high ceilings and industrial charm. The main feature of this room is its dramatic double stairway. It leads up to the mezzanine that overlooks the main dining space. The mezzanine itself is great for your cocktail hour or cake cutting. Additionally, there are private rooms for use by the bridal party or entertainers. The Cupola Ballroom allows you to design the space exactly how you envisioned it.

Outdoor Gardens

Outdoor spaces at the Foundry make for endless photo opportunities! Lush greens cover the property, creating naturally beautiful backdrops for your wedding day photos and videos. For example, the Covered Bridge is a popular spot for capturing photos of the newlyweds and the wedding party. The sculpture garden is great for outdoor ceremonies. In addition, the Foundry offers an outdoor patio. In fact, this space is perfect for hosting guests and taking photos by the trellis garden. The Foundry also offers backup indoor ceremony plans in case of bad weather. The Foundry team will always be there to help you execute the perfect wedding.

Each catering package includes table settings, food, cake, non-alcoholic beverages, full-service staff, and bartenders. Keep in mind that the venue is BYOB, but you can purchase alcohol separately.
